2024 Excavation latest: Doctor's Meadow near Southborough Common

The 2024 season started in late August with exploration and vegetation clearance at our new site.  Many thanks to Southborough Society for giving us permission to explore this meadow. We started by clearing and excavating a pit, which potentially held World War II remains and we will also explore other features across the site.

Already the site has produced several very interesting finds, including numerous spent bullets, lino, a gold and enamel WWII pilot sweetheart badge, a 1980's crunchie wrapper! and a 1980's dog collar tag.

New diggers are very welcome to join us. Please contact us
